For buyers, Simone Lillian & Company will assess your needs, preferences and financial capabilities to assist in finding your most compatable industries to focus on. Education and experience affords us the ability to hone in on your true requirements and goals. 

MARKETING THE BUSINESS

Simone Lillian & Company will create the essential marketing strategy to attract potential buyers for eoch specific seller. This most likely will include preparing a confidential information memorandum (CIM) that outlines your business’s strengths, financials, and growth ability. Being able to accurately define your business, including assets, goals, growth potential, and strong points will facilitate the sale process. We may also market the business through various channels while still maintaining total confidentiality.

IDENTIFYING BUYERS

We use our extensive business network and databases to identify potential buyers that meet the specific criteria for each individual seller. Defining the right match of potential buyers is key to achieving the best possible transaction for both seller and buyer.

QUALIFYING BUYERS

Before sharing detailed financial as well as other sensitive information, we qualify potential buyers to ensure they have the financial capability and serious intent to purchase your business.

NEGOTIATION

Once a buyer is interested, SL&Co. facilitates negotiations between the buyer and seller. We help both parties understand each other’s positions and work towards a mutually agreeable deal. Our goal is for each side to be satisfied with the final outcome.

DUE DILLIGENCE

After reaching a preliminary agreement, the buyer conducts due diligence, where they thoroughly investigate the business’s financials, operations, and legal matters. Once due diligence is complete we will help satisfy and resolve any issues that may have come up. At this point sales agreements will be finalized and the closing process will be coordinated, ensuring all necessary documents are signed and funds are properly dispersed.

AFTER THE TRANSACTION

After the transaction is complete we may provide post-sale support to help both parties transition smoothly, ensuring the buyer is well-equipped to take over the seller’s business. Often this may require the seller to remain on temporarily, at least in a consulting capacity, to assist in this transition.
